Babies: 3 - 6 Months

recommend your jogger - or what should I look for when buying one?

Want to get one... which kind do you have? Is it better if the front wheel swivels? Any other "things" I should look for when getting a jogger?

TIA!

  • If you are going to run with it then a swivel front wheel is better. Also a nice big sun shade is a plus. I run with a BOB and I have a city mini jogger for malls and such. I love them both.
  • Loading the player...
  • I have a jeep liberty jogger.  Its a little cheaper than the BOB and I like that I can play my ipod through speakers so I can hear the baby.  I heard you should have fixed front wheel for jogging.  Mine is fixed, at 1st I found it annoying, but its not bad to run with

  • I'm looking to buy one too & was wondering the same thing
  • I have the BOB revolution and love it. The front wheel swivels but you can also lock it when you're running so it doesn't turn on you.  The sun shade is nice and big so your baby is covered.  We've only used it for long walks so far but both my son and I love it.

This!  It also has shocks, which makes it more comfortable for the baby.  I take DS on dirt paths with it and he sleeps through it.  We got ours on sale at REI so it was a little cheaper and you can have it delivered to the store (if there's one by you) and you don't pay shipping!

  • I have a jeep liberty sport with a swivel wheel. It also has bike tires. I love love love it. I have used it for about two years with DS and plan to use it for a while. You can also get a musical parent tray and attatch your mp3 player to it. Best thing about it is the price around $150. Great stroller all around!

  • We have a BOB Sport Utility and we love it.  It has a fixed front wheel (we also had read somewhere that the front wheel should be fixed for jogging/ running).  It has larger, nubbier wheels than the Revolution.  We live on a gravel road so this was a huge plus for us.  The fixed wheel, however, is not as easy to turn.
