Q from 3rd Tri Board - How dilated were you when labor started?

I've had great response from the 3rd T board on dilation and weeks - just wondering for those that have already had their babies - how far along were you when you delivered, and how far were you dilated when it happened?

2-3 cm at 34.6 wks with the twins. I was induced at 1 cm with Emerson at 40 wks.

I delivered at 38 weeks and was 4 cm dialted at my doctors appointment 2 days before.

41 weeks, 3 days... induced with pitocin. I was 1 fingertip and 85% effaced at my 40 week appointment. Good luck!

I was 2cm at my last appt and 6cm when I showed up to triage in active labor. I had him about 1.5 hours later.

I had to be induced at 41 weeks 3 days. I had been dilated to 4cm and 100% effaced for a week.

I had an appt at 36w3d, first internal, i was nothing, i was high, very closed, nothing.

My water broke in the evening at 37w5d, we went to the hospital about 2 hours later (had to shower and do makeup first, lol), i was only 1 cm, i got cervadil that only stayed in about 3 hours because it fell out with a gush of water (i always thought your water gushed once, wrong, it continues to gush), so after that i was progressing quickly, got an epi, started progressing even faster after that and had my baby, all in all, it was about 14 hours from the time my water broke until my son is born

Everyone is different though, some people are dilated at 3 cm for weeks and end up being induced. I fully believe internals are a crock and mean nothing. I

I was 1 cm at 35 wks, and 3 cm at my OB app't the day I went into labour. With my other 2 I wasn't dilated at before going into labour.

I was at 2cm at 37wks3day. My water broke at 37wks6days and 45 minutes later at the hospital i was at 9.5cm. I had the baby within 4 hours of my water breaking and that was with the doctor slowing down labor so i could get an epidural.

#1- When I went to the hospital, I was 5-6 dilated.

#2- I was scheduled for an induction at 41 weeks & was 1 cm when I went in the night before for the Cervadil.

I never dilated or thinned out until I went into labor. I had gone to the doctor that morning and nothing then checked into the hospital at 8PM that same night in labor and was only a fingertip dilated but 2 hours later I was at 3.5 cm. Everyone is different!

I was 3 cm 75% at my 39 week appointment (39w1d). I went into labor a day after my due date (sunday) and was still stuck at 3 cm when they finally started Pit at 6am on Tuesday, then DD was born at 1:30pm.

I was 3cm at 35 weeks and added an additional cm every week until I was induced at 39 weeks. I was 6-7 cm and still not in labor! The people who registered me wondered out loud if it was really an induction if I came in that dilated.

I was at 3cm at my 38 & 39 week appts. I went into labor at 40w2ds, when I got to the hospital I was at 4-5cm. (I labored at home for a few hours though.. so I don't know what I was at when my labor actually started.)

Waters breaking at 35 weeks was the first sign of labour for me. I was fully effaced and 3cm dilated. Got to 8cm by the time we reached the hospital 4 1/2 hours later, just before emergency section (breech).

I was 3-4 cm dilated, but not really having any contractions on DD's due date. The Dr sent me to the hospital to start pitocin at 5 pm.. DD was born at 12:04 am after 30 minutes of pushing.
