So, I was dx'd with PCOS, and have been on the pill since January because of this. I stopped taking the pill at the end of August. Well lately I have been having some cramping, but thought it was just side effects of getting off the pill.
Anyways, I think I just started my very own period (yay! first one since August 2009!) but I am not sure when I should pee on an ovulation strip. (I currently don't have any, and don't chart bc I thought I wouldn't get AF on my own, so I am totally not prepared for this.
Thanks for any and all help!
Re: Really dumb ? about OPK's
Others' advice is probably just as good and valid, but personally, I would for the first few cycles at least, track my CM and base my OPK testing off of that... as soon as the CM started getting "wet" tending towards more egg-white (and fertile), I would start twice-daily OPK testing... w/FMU and then in the late afternoon, to make sure I didn't miss the surge.
Or, you can buy a sh!t-ton of IC's and pee on them every day

Ditto!
Buy a bunch of sticks to pee on
& Start charting whats going on. I don't think it matters what point you are in your cycle because the more info you have the better. At least some data is better than none
