Summer is not going quietly into that good night!
Last week we were in the 80's, then suddenly we've had this massive heat wave, with highs in the 100's for the past couple days (today was 109!). It cools down to like 85ish at night (normally it gets down to at least the 60's). Aaand we don't have AC. ![]()
Does anyone know whether this would be affecting my waking temps? Doesn't make a big difference at this point in my cycle, but I'm curious. ![]()
(I switched from a normal thermometer to a BBT thermometer on CD2, which is why that drop from CD1-CD2 looks so massive -- the BBT measures ~0.5 degrees lower than the normal thermometer)

I'm going to say yes, but kinda.
I've been camping on the day I ovulate, and when I normally would have a temp jump, it would only be up a little. The day before I ovulated it was down below what it normally I was sleeping outside in a tent, so my temp was lower.
Sometimes if I sleep with the window open and it gets cold and I kick off my blankets or DH has more blankets than me, my temp will be a bit lower.
I've never had them affected by being too hot though...only cold.
My temps shot up this morning. I should have/should be O'ing soon, so I hope that is the reason. But we ahd no power for about 15 hours starting last night, so I am concerned it could be due to the lack of AC and the record heat.
The power is back on now, so we will see how it goes tomorrow morning. I hope this heat wave is over soon.
