Contractions

I have been having contractions every 2 hours since 11pm last night. They hurt but every time I talk to dr. she says they are just BH. Im wondering if its worth it to call her now because they are every 2 hours.  Thoughts?

    One contraction every 2 hours is nothing to call about. If you start getting 5+ in one hour, call/

    Double this.

    My MW wants me to call if I ever get more than 6 in an hour.  Every 2 hours just sounds like regular BHs, I get them about every other hour now.

    I have been having several BH contractions a day for several weeks now.  Every time I switch from sitting to standing I get one...along with lots of random ones throughout the day...some are uncomfy/painful-some I barely notice.  1 every two hours is normal-especially late in pregnancy.

    My OB and hospital both said not to call for anything less than one contraction every 3-5 minutes.

    I would request that she see you or send you to L & D to be checked out. It may be nothing but you should make sure, if it is something you want them to try to delay it.  I had an issue saturday with cramping which felt more like an intestinal thing, going the bathroom a lot and my belly tightening more which I assumed it was just BH as well.  I got monitored turned out to be contractions, I was having them at times I did not know, it got to 3 in 15 mins.  I was given meds and thanksfully it has slowed down.  The most important thing is that my cervix is still closed and that should really be checked if you are having the cramping the way you are.  Better to be safe then sorry.

    Nope.  Not yet.  They will get stronger and closer together...you will have no choice but to call - or turn into something like the Incredible HULK!
