Leapfrog toys

Any suggestions what Leapfrog toys are great for a 19 month old? I am starting to do Coop's Christmas list and I would love to put a few LF toys on there. Any recommendations that your LO's love? (He already has Scout, fridge magnets & an activity table)

Are the Tag juniors too old for him do you think? Thanks!

I just got T a leap frog my first leaptop computer for his birthday. Of course he's never played with it but it's pretty cool for the price. You can upload certain songs, send him emails (which it says them out loud obviously since he can't read LOL), and a bunch of other stuff. It's geared towards 2 year olds.

I was wondering about the Tag Jr system as well. I'm considering getting it for E for Christmas.

I hear that the Tag Junior is really cool, but it's a little advanced for kids under 2. A friend got one for her daughter for her second birthday and she is just now really getting it (and not throwing the pointer) at 2.5, so it may be more up Evie's alley than the boys'.

Side note: If you have/sign up for a Leapfrog account on their site (like you do when you register My Pal Scout, etc.) you can get a free Tag Junior book right now. I ordered one since we'll probably get Collin a TJ for his birthday in May.

I'm all over that phone for Max after Jenn told me about it, he loooooves pushing keys on my BlackBerry.

Ooo that would be good for the car too! I might have to pick that up for christmas. I don't know about Max but even though T loves to push or play with my phone he knows when it's fake. It's so annoying, I've gotten him fake cell phones, given him OLD cell phones that still turn on and he still knows it's not real. LOL

If it makes noise, I would say not a car toy! W has a phone that is supposed to teach him numbers and he keeps hitting the same button repeatedly. I can't take it! It's in the "sorry buddy batteriers don't work" pile.

Thanks for your thoughts on these toys - I too love the phone/blackberry like toy! It might be a good one to get for the plane. Hope it's not too noisy though!
