I thought I read somewhere on here at some point that you can make a little gift basket for the nurses at the hospital to bring so they are nice to you when in labor? or am i making this up because the chinese food delivery guy has taken over 2 hours to find my office and is still not here!!
seriously though-- any thoughts?
Re: Gift basket/presents for nurses..
I'm probably going to bring them a bag of individually wrapped candy. According to all the nurses here, they like sweets and individually wrapped keeps them from having to throw them away due to germs and all that hospital goodness.
It's not so much that I want better treatment as it is that I believe it's the nurses who do all the work and get none of the love. They will be putting up with me for Lord knows how long and will deserve a little treat for that alone!!

I was in a small hospital so maybe it is different, by my nurses were SOOO nice (even without bribery)!!! DH did send them flowers the next day though, and you could tell they were very appreciative.
I think any sign that you appreciate their hard work is great.
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I think you can get those little buckets at target and maybe I will make about 12 or so before hand and I have DH bring it up to them when we leave.
