And... go!

Mine: I think we are going to do "Under the Sea" Beach themed. I saw a cute Idea to hang a fishing net with DS's photos throughout the year, have a fishing game with the kids... Fishing nets on the tables, some centerpieces of fishbowls, etc!

    I think I'm going to go with a "Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice" sort of thing...But a Kitty themed party is also on the table because R loves cats so much. 1st bdays are huuuuuge where I live so I've begun the planning process.?

    I'm kind of joining themes together. It will be a combo of birds, woods, and winter. That likely has a name, but that's what I'm doing. Full of branches, snowflakes, and birds.

    I just designed her invites and they look awesome!

    Nearly every element for the party will be homemade (even the guest of honor, lol!), so I'm starting early (like... yesterday). I have a little over three months.

    I just want to throw a party!

    Not sure yet, but I know it won't be Dora or any of the Disney Princesses or any kind of cartoon.  I have been to so many parties with those themes in the last few years that I want to throw up whenever I walk into yet another one.

    I'm thinking something Spring-theme related because her birthday is March 25th.

    We're going to do a tea party, Alice in Wonderland style. Coffee I think I might just have a "girl's only" rule too, (w/ the exception of DH and DS of course), and serve little tea sandwiches and whatnot.
