Am I the only one

in 3rd Trimester
who has great intentions of going for a walk after work but then just ends up laying around?   I know walking is good for me and the baby, but honestly, I just don't have the energy!  Hope I'm not the only one.

    You're definately not alone! I used to love walking after work to wind down or going to the Y.

    I wish I could. I have SPD and I am not supposed to go far, plus my blood pressure became high when I got pregnant so with it still being hot here in FL I am not allowed out for two long (after fainting spells) so we try to walk around stores but after about 45 mins my back hurts so bad I am almost in tears... so yeah, its not just you

    Not at all! After standing at work all day the last thing I want to do is go for a walk! Now that the weather is finally cooling off I might have more inspiration for it..but then again..maybe not. Also, everytime I mention going on a walk my mother always says something like "Oh good, its important to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles before delivery" or something disturbing like that. Thats also incentive to not walk! haha.

    1 month of Letrozole, 3 IUI's with Letrozole, All BFN. 1 canceled IVF cycle, BFN.


    May 2013 IVF w/ICSI #1.5: Start BCP 5/8 2 pills a day. Suppression Ultrasound 5/29. Begin Dexamethasone & Lupron Microdose 5/31. Started Gonal F and Menopur 6/2.


    ER 6/12 13R,9M,8F.


    5DT CANCELLED due to moderate OHSS


    5DT UNcancelled due to embryos not being capable of cryopreservation


    Transfered 2 "poor quality" embryo's on 6/17

    No frozen embryos.


    Beta #1 6/25 6. Chemical Pregnancy confirmed. Beta #2 6/28 -1

    LOL, this is me.  Lazy with Netflix.  Plus I'm currently using the heat as an excuse.  It's 113 here now!

    2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
    IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
    FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
    IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
    8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
    11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
    FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
    u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    Thank you all for the validation so far.  I was a runner prior to pregnancy and just keep saying "you'll get back into it...just relax now" haha...the excuses we use.  I figure I have about 6 weeks to go - how much is it REALLY going to help at this point (see, I'm good at excuses)  :)

    Nope your not the only one, I come home eat dinner sit on the couch say we should really walk the dogs tonight, when DH is ready to go I am already laying down and pretened I am not noticing him get the leashes so he ends up walking one or two of the three alone. Embarrassed I been doing this for over a month now so he stoped asking if I am still going.

    I intend to walk my dogs everyday but wind up always letting my mother do it. Usually just cause my back hurts or something else, but dammit, today will be the day I will walk my puppies!!!
