Pregnancy similar to own mother's?

Hi everyone,I'm new to the bump and am currently in my first-ever wait to see if I'm pregnant. I haven't had a positive urine test yet, but my doctor thinks it likely that I'd have hcg levels too low anyway. I go in tomorrow for a blood test and a sono to see if maybe a cyst is the culprit behind all of my symptoms.ANYway, I have PCOS and Autoimmune Thyroid Disease and would be at high-risk. I'm wondering if any of you know if your pregnancy is usually similar to your own mother's pregnancy? She has the same health conditions that I do and it took forever for them to prove she was pregnant. She also had a long, difficult pregnancy with all kinds of complications.I am having difficulty finding information on this particular topic!

I will treat it as if I will experience her problems. She died of an autoimmune blood clotting disease that also caused pregnancy losses due to clots. There's no certain way to say whether or not I have it or will experience symptoms, so I met with a doctor who will support me going on blood thinners (like my mom did with me) just to try to prevent possible issues. I had a weak positive ONE time for just one component of the disorder, but nothing concrete.

My pregnancy with DS was different than any of my mom's pregnancies (I'm one of three girls). My delivery was the most different...my mom's water broke with all of her pregnancies before going to the hospital, the OB had to break my water (I had regular contractions that got me admitted first)...my mom had 3 c-sections, I had a vaginal delivery. The main similarity was that my older sister (I'm the middle) and my DS were about the same birth weight.
