So I see a doctor (nephrologist to be exact) every 3 months to check my blood pressure b/c 4 years ago I had surgery on my kidneys b/c one of them isn't functioning up to par which in turn leads to high blood pressure.
Anyways, I had an extremely stressful morning at work not to mention I was running late to my appt and I HATE being late. So of course I get there and my blood pressure was super high. I had every intention of going back to work after but my doctor said that he was writing me a prescription. He comes back with $2 and a prescription that said:
1) Don't go back to work and don't let work stress you out. It isn't worth it.
2) Get a Sonic drink on me
He is such a funny guy! So I am sitting here on my couch sipping my Peach Flavored Sprite that only cost 80 cents (thank you Sonic Happy Hour)
sidenote: I am on medication for my blood pressure so I am sure today is just a fluke but I will keep monitoring it to make sure it goes back down and stays down.

What a nice doctor!
Not fair, the closest Sonic is about 75 miles away. Yet they play the commercials all the bloody time! It really drives me mad, I love me a Sonic Sunrise (OJ and cherry lime aid).
What a great doctor!!! That is amazing! I wouldn't mind going back to the Dr.'s after that!!

I was on Diovan before we started TTC but after we started he switched me to Amlodopine (sp?). What about you?

I was on Lisinopril, & my doctor switched me to Lebetalol, and my BP stayed controlled for about 10 months and then started increasing so he added Hydrochlorizide, and I am taking the combo, and when I get KU he will stop the Hydrochlorizde and play with the dosage of Lebetalol...Ugh!

BFP: 11/14/11 ~ Spotting/Betas not doubling, but HB of 113 bpm @ 6 wks 1 day!
