Starting my injectibles cycle...

I'm so nervous about this because I can't stand needles and stuff.  I've gotten "ok" with someone taking my blood...but I don't think I can give myself a shot.  I'm gonna make DH do it I think. 

I actually O'ed on my own (on our anniversary) and had MF bad on vacation, but AF showed today.  We get our RLP test results back Wed and now I have my CD3 u/s as well that day.  Please, please, please let everything be ok with our RLP results.

    i hope the shots aren't too bad.  i just wish nobody had to go through all this to have a baby.  ((hugs)) 

    and keep us posted about the test results.  hope everything is ok!

    Sending lots of good luck your way. Before I started seeing the RE I hated needles. But after all the bloodwork I got there and then all the injectibles I have had to do I don't mind them anymore. The first one was the hardest because I worked myself up that it would hurt more then it did. After the first couple I was fine.

    Good luck this month!  Get DH to give you the shots, you'll do great!

    so glad you are able to move forward!

    I had DH do my shots the first few days - then it just became faster and easier to do it myself. my tips to everyone: ice the area with a soda or beer can first, and slide it in - no poking!

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    Good luck!  I used ice the first few times, but then I didn't really need it.  I made DH do all of my shots.  Also, when you do the alcohol swab let it dry completely.  If it doesn't then it stings a little.
