Pregnant after IF

Just did the Shady Grove walk...

And I have to say it was pretty amazing.  To see all these babies/kids from treatments and success stories.  Of course I cried the entire time because of my hormone levels.

Too bad it was raining and gross out side.  All week it's been 90 and today it was 60 and raining.  I did get to meet DeputiesWife from the IF board, and she has the most beautiful DD.

It was amazing.....thanks for letting me share.

  • I'm glad that you had an amazing time.  I really wanted to do it, but I am currently on a no exercise at all restriction because of my SCH.  Hopefully I can do it next year while pushing my babies in a jog stroller.

     There were so many strollers...even saw a triplet stroller.  So cute.  So many twins too.  It was neat to see.

    Next year I'll join you with the running stroller! :)

  • I wanted to do this this year but I didn't think I should walk this late.  I will definitely be doing this next year though and will have my DD in tow!  That is great you had the opportunity to do it!

  • That sounds great!

    I am sad though because my DD is a Shady Grove baby and we didn't know about the walk :(.  **pout**

  • ::popping over::

    It was so great to meet you, SweetyPy17, and see your smiling, happy face despite all the rain.

    It was absolutely amazing. The support. The inspiration. The number of families so grateful that we were running or walking. I had tears in my eyes when I crossed the finish line - I ran! I havent run in a VERY long time. I ran all the hills pushing a heavy jogging stroller with a 37 pound toddler. Im feeling it today, but I left with a smile.

    I will definitely be doing it next year! We will have to rally up some more Shady Grovers!
