Can I please have some recommendations for a baby carrier? My husband would use it primarly because I will probably use the Moby Wrap. He really wants his own little "man sling" for her and we are pretty active. We'll need something from newborn to older baby (perhaps up to 2 years old???) that is back-friendly for us, comfortable for her, and conducive of hiking or lots of outdoor walking. We're currently leaning towards the Ergo Performance....but I really have no clue what else is out there. Thank you so much for the help!
Re: Baby Carrier Recommendation?
Ergo, ergo, ergo.
The Moby's awesome for the newborn phase, primarily around the house....but it's an enormous PITA. I rarely used it in public because it was such a pain. And once the baby hits a certain weight, it just sags like crazy. Plus, it's really hot.
I bought the Ergo when DS was about 5 months old, so I'm not sure how it is for newborns (though I've heard it's not the greatest...), but I absolutely love that thing. He's well over 20 lbs now, and I can wear him for hours without even the slightest back ache.
