I put my story up on the faces of loss site and got a comment from someone that everything happens for a reason - I hate getting that comment and then the same person told me to solve my infertility just stand on my head after sex. I'm sure thats what the RE would want me to do - lol. Here is a link to my story on there where she posted it.

    i had a friend that tried for 7 years to get pregnante and it didnt happen until she stood on ehr head :)

    That like makes me fvcking stabby.

    That site needs to police the comments. If they are asking women to put their personal stories out there like this, there should be protection from comments that are insensitive and dumb.

    Angry  OMG.  I'm so sorry.  You put yourself out there to help educate people and get a cr@ppy response like that.  I would ask for the comment to be removed.

    It is really a shame that such a great idea/site has someone posting idiotic things like that. I'm sorry. I guess there is no escaping the dimwits. 

    ETA: I think you should e-mail the admins and ask that they delete that comment

    Ugh.  Normally I can shrug off people who say the wrong things while trying to be helpful.  But when you're a stranger...& an idiot...it's dang near impossible.  I'm sorry you had to deal with that!!!

    I definitely wouldn't take TTC advice from someone who can't even spell the word pregnant!  Hopefully you can figure out how to delete it.

    Good! I'm glad they took it down right away. I would think that the last thing the people that run that site want is for someone that shares their story to be upset.
