Hey lady 
I don't want to take over Papp's page completely, so I though I'll ask you here...where in Austin are you from? I live in SW Austin in Oak Hill, I love it here.
I think we have quite a few ladies here from the greater Austin area, maybe we should plan a GTG some time?

Oh my gosh Lady!!! You're like right down the freaking street from me. I live on Southwest Pkwy. Moved here about 2.5 years ago. Hated it @ first (completely diff from dallas which is where I moved from), but now I really love it!
A GTG sounds really great, but I think it'd be hard to schedule lol. We could all try
We lived on Southwest Parkway the first 8 months that we were in Austin
The Preserve at Travis Creek is the apartment complex we were at. Then we bought our first house together and we stayed in SW Austin with it, cause it's such an awesome area to be in.

That's our apt complex!!! You have to tell me your old apt # hahaha with our luck, we'd be living in the same one you were in. I really want to buy a house, but all of the houses seem so expensive out here. I haven't looked at all in the area that you live in now though. What school district is it?

I live like an hour (or less) away from Austin and would probably be up for a GTG sometime! The only catch is that I'm moving to Arizona in December so it would have to be before then.

Hahahaha, that's awesome. Our apartment number was 1231.
Our neighborhood that we live in is called Westcreek. There are a few houses for sale right now, they are all about 1600 to 1900 squarefeet and range from 200k to 240k. If you check out www.zillow.com you can get a good idea of what the homes look like. :-)
Our school district is Austin ISD. Patton Elementary is about a 5 minute walk from our house.
Oh, that would be fun! We should just meet on a Saturday night and go to Trudy's for some Mexican Food

We made sure to buy a house that we could afford on only MH's salary, so I could stay at home once we have a baby. It is quite expensive to buy a house with the closing costs and all the realtor fees, if you use one, so I understand your concern.
I'd hope I could make it. I seriously hate my job. I never have a set schedule and I work literally every saturday.
Where's trudy's? I've heard people talk about it a lot, but I've never been. And that sounds good. Better make it my CD1 so I can haz a margarita
Oh man, you have to try out Trudy's! Here is their website: https://www.trudys.com/, they have different locations in Austin. Their fried avocado is to die for and they have really good Mexican Martinis and Frozen margaritas

If you don't mid me asking, how much does YH make? Right now I only work pt and when we have a baby, I will definitely stay at home. DH makes around 48 a yr or so, but hopefully will become a school administrator soon and make big bucks lol
MH makes 70k. I work fulltime and am at about 32k. Right now my salary goes into a savings account that we will use as a baby fund.
Would you want to maybe start a new thread and see if others are interested in a GTG? I know that steff lives in the Hill Country and might want to come and SRH would be in, which is cool. There are others from around here, too, and a bunch of ladies from Dallas.
