PIP: invite and ?

I finished Claire's invite, so I wanted to see what you all thought before I printed them.  How does the open house wording sound, and do you still think it's okay to say that?  I really don't think I could fit everyone at my house at once!  Also, should I have an RSVP date or should they even RSVP since it's an open house? TIA for any input!

  • so cute!!!!!!!!

did you design it, and how?

I think the wording is fine.  if you need to know the # of people coming (for food purposes) then include the RSVP date and email.  Otherwise don't include it!

  • Cute!  I wouldn't have anyone RSVP since it's an open house (unless you're inviting A LOT of people, in which case I would change my mind).
  • I did design it.  I bought a digital scrapbook kit and pieced it together the way I wanted it!  Knowing the # would be a good thing, I suppose. lol
  • I put RSVP regrets only and I got three regret notes, the other 25 people who didn't come just didn't care I guess... I would put it.  I made 3 lbs of macaroni and something like 50 hotdogs/20 brats.  I had 2 lbs of macaroni and 15 hotdogs left since I had no clue how many were actually coming.
  • We had an open house and had about 75 people, so I asked for RSVPs.

  • Or, if I left off the "open house" part but mentioned the cake smash, do you think people would realize they could come whenever?
  • Very cute!

I always ask for RSVPs just because I like to know how much food to have for everyone.

I think I would leave the Open House part.

  • Thanks!  It just feels weird to say open house, but really, she's only one!  Lol, it's not like she can play games. Smile
