Of course, I'm sure it's b/c this is brand new to me, but I feel like I didn't sleep a wink last night. I tossed and turned until about 2am, then woke up around 4:45 to pee and couldn't get back to sleep. My head is just spinning (in a good way).
Those of you who have let it "sink in" already, how have you been sleeping? I'm sure it's just because this is so new and I'm so excited, but I"m hoping I can turn my brain off and sleep well tonight! *yawn*
Re: How have you been sleeping?
i am sleeping horribly - and i still am not sure it has sunk in
i have been napping at points too because i have been so tired- but last night i got into bed and could not fall asleep, then i was up at 4:50 and awake until 6:30 when i finally fell back to sleep for 30 minutes. i am not sure why i am sleeping so poorly - excitment, having to pee, or stress

I haven't been sleeping good either. It doesn't take me long to go to sleep but if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can't go back to sleep. Last night it was from 2:30-3:30. I'm also a stomach sleeper and my paranoid self thinks I'll crush the baby if I sleep on my stomach
. I know it won't happen but I can't stop thinking about it.
I've been getting up to pee in the middle of the night a lot, which is so not normal for me. Very annoying! I'm going to try to cut off myself off from liquids after dinner time and see if that helps.
I have been getting awful sleep too. I usually wake up to pee or I get cramps which usually meants I need to go to the bathroom for a bowel movement (sorry for the TMI). My stomach has been in all sorts of wacky lately.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one - my sleep schedule has been so awful lately!
Up until 1 or later, can't get to sleep (even though was.so.tired earlier that evening/day). Waking up in the night at 4:30 and can't sleep until DH alarm goes off at 7. Then so exhausted I finally fall back asleep (I work from home w/flexible hours TG). Also, like I mentioned, during the day I have little fits of pure exhuastion - at the moment, laying down - not even napping - is re-energizing me enough though, which I'm thankful for as I'm not usually a good napper. It hasn't fully sunk in for me either, though I'm starting to get more excited. This period is so scary, I didn't anticipate not being able to feel pure joy/excitement/anxiety
right away.
2 words: Nap Time
I sleep pretty good at night and still come home from work and nap every day before I cook dinner and walk.
Hope it's just the excitement and you get some good sleep soon! Sleep is priceless.
I haven't been sleeping very well. It's hard to get comfy b/c of sore boobs, and my legs have been pretty itchy during the night too. Add an extra trip to the bathroom, and I'm tossing and turning all night.
I'm really thankful I get home an hour+ before DH so I can get a little nap/rest in every day.
We'll always remember our angel baby: BFP 9/24/10, M/C 10/23/10 8w4d
I've been sleeping great! Ever since I got my BFP - I think charting was making me anxious.
Even though I get up a couple of times each night to go to the bathroom, I still fall right back asleep.
Been away from theBump for a while, getting active again for all the good advice
Wow- this makes me feel so much more normal!
I haven't been sleeping well but mostly because of crazy dreams and having to pee. Not sure about the dreams- probably some anxiety my brain is sorting out.
