As the mucus plug turns...

So I talked to the doc and he told me that it most likely was my MP, since I am walking around dilated already. Sooo we just wait till something happens. I am working today and having a small panic attack. He also said that if labor starts he will try to stop it until 36 weeks. Oh and MP's don't really grow back... They just kinda change consistency and 'flow' he said. FUN STUFF!

    I'm sorry you're dealing with this so early. I hope everything settles down for you.  Try to stay calm...it won't help if you get too worked up.

    BTW- I LOVE the title you gave this post.  It gave me a much needed Monday laugh.

    I hope everything works out for you, maybe after work you should start taking it easy? Hopefully the doc can keep ya LO cookin until 36 weeks ( or longer WOO ). Goodluck!

    I don't get why talking about your mucus plug is so bad - it's just another in the long list of pg-related bodily fluid/functions. Anyway, sorry you lost yours so soon & I hope your cervix doesn't thin out too quickly so you go as close to full term as possible!

    Yes, but UGH!  I just hate the word mucus.  If it was called something like your cervical plug or something I would be much happier. LOL!
