QOTD: How are you feeling? Have you started your registrey yet? What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registrey? If this is baby number 2 or more, what is one thing you feel us new moms def. should registery for or get and one thing that is a waste of our money?
Re: ~~**February Love Bugs Check In**~~
Just started putting my registry together and it is so tough to try to figure out what I actually need and what is just superfluous! I have decided to go basic with the stuff that I get before the baby comes, that way I can see what my baby likes and get things as I need them afterward.

I'm feeling alright. I'm more aching, and I've had some leg cramps. This is my third, so no registry. I really like my boppy over my breast friend pillow. If you have my breast friend pillow on your registry, I personally think it was a waste of money. The boppy is much more comfortable in my opinion.
This is my first check in so I'm not sure if I am doing it right but,
How are you feeling? I feel ok, but I still get morning sickness.
Have you started your registrey yet? I started it on Amazon.com and went to BABIES R Us Friday.
What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registrey? The pack and play/changing table/bassinet in one.
What is one thing you feel us new moms def. should register for? The sleeper nightgowns so you don't have to deal with snaps in the middle of the night.
What is one thing that is a waste of money? The Bumbo. Lots of babies are to fat to even fit in it.
I'm feeling good! No major complaints at all. I've had a pretty "easy" pregnancy so far.
I haven't registered yet. I'm planning to do it sometime within the next few weeks at Target, Babies-r-Us, and maybe a cloth diaper place.
This is my first, so I don't have much in the way of registry/purchase recommendations!

I'm feeling great. Still not really feeling pregnant at all, and I just look like I ate too many hamburgers. I started our amazon registry that just has books and cds on it. We will probably start our actual registry in a few weeks. The only things I absolutely want off the registry are the books. DH's parents are coming down in a couple weeks and bringing some of his books from when he was a kid. But, we have a whole bookshelf just for Abby, and I'm looking forward to filling it up!!

I feel great! People are telling me I'm having "an easy pregnancy" and I would agree.
I started registries on Amazon and BRU. I'm going into the store on Friday with my girlfriends who are moms to complete it.
The one thing I really want is the Mamaroo seat, but it's a bit pricey so we'll see what happens.
How are you feeling? Sick I've been throwing up a lot again lately and had a cold. Also have a UTI and some back pain worrying its maybe turned into a kidney infection so gonna call the doctor later today I think.
Have you started your registry yet? Kinda I started one at Target with all girl stuff that I loved but we don't know if we are having a girl or boy yet.
What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registry? I really want the first years wave stroller and I know my mom is buying it for me.
If this is baby number 2 or more, what is one thing you feel us new moms def. should register for or get and one thing that is a waste of our money? I agree I didn't really use my changing table I did at first with DS #1 but I don't think I ever used it with #2 but I got a matching one again for this one (or furniture was hand me down and destroyed after going through 5 kids). I used my boppy like crazy so that's a must have. Never liked it to use while breastfeeding but my kids were a pain wanted to be held while sleeping so the dr actually recommended putting the boppy in their bassinet as it would be a tight squeeze it wouldn't move and smother them but it would feel like they were being held still and it worked like a charm.
Hi, hi! I'm feeling good overall. I still haven't gotten that 2nd tri energy. I'm not getting my hopes up on it ever coming at this point. LOL. Our big U/S is Tuesday. Right now I'm excited but I'm sure come tomorrow I'll be a big nervous wreck.

We haven't started ours yet. We'll do it sometime after the big U/S. I haven't even given a huge amount of thought to what will go on the list yet. I'm almost done with Baby Bargains (of course the last two sections I have to read are the biggest). As overwhelming as the book has been it's also been super helpful. I feel like I have a much better idea going into all this now.
I am feeling great. I get a little more tired near the end of the work-week. I guess that is normally, I am growing a baby!!!
I started my registery. The one thing I really want is my video monitor!!!!
I am a first time mom, from talking to friends, I learned that the changing table and diaper pail are a waste! When DH and I got the nursery furniture, we did not get a changing table due to this. I figured a diaper pail is a lot of money, I will just use a regular close lid garbage pail!
I'm getting a few new things since we're having a girl and I got rid of a couple things I did not like: new crib, bouncer, girl crib bedding.
used the heck out of: Pack-N-Play
did not even buy b/c of waste: bottle warmer, wipes warmer
This is my first check in- so here goes:
Name: Nikki,
Due Date: Feb 26, 2011
Age 24
I have been feeling great. After getting out of month 3 and no longer dealing with morning sickness things have been great. I did one registrey at BRU, but I didn't put alot on there-I had a coupon to get a $20 gift card for reg. so I did it. We are waiting untill we find out the gender to do the real one.
Come on Sticky baby!!

Feeling great, I feel so lucky to have such smooth pregnancies (hope it doesn't change with any others)! The only issue I'm having is a little trouble sleeping, but that's it.
I have started my registry, but there's not much on it since this is #2. I really hope I get the double stroller I registered for.
I always always suggest a wrap, not just any carrier, but a wrap specifically (I love my Moby) because it keeps the baby right up against you so secure, it feels just like you're holding your baby tight up against your chest without hands. And if baby falls asleep you can pull a panel of material over their head (not face) and you can bend over and their head doesn't budge. My wrap was a life saver (or dinner saver) since DS would always get cranky and need to be held right when I was trying to make dinner. I also loved our Bumbo.
Biggest waste of money, probably either the walker or the travel swing (it's our only swing), DS never really liked either so we've never really used them.
QOTD: I'm feeling pretty good minus some allergies that I have been dealing with for the past week. But I just started feeling our little one move so that has more than made up for my icky-ness.
As for registry items...
I loved my boppy pillow.
Waste of money: wipe warmer. I never asked for one with DD and we never had a problem with cold wipes.

QOTD: How are you feeling? Ehh Have you started your registrey yet? We registered at Amazon but it's a list we are keeping private since we aren't having a shower. What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registrey? My Joovy sit and stand. I can't wait! If this is baby number 2 or more, what is one thing you feel us new moms def. should registery for or get and one thing that is a waste of our money? If you are planning on breastfeeding you must get a good pump and a My Brest Friend. I cannot live without them. Also I could never live without my Tiny Love playmat and Graco pack and play with changer. Love them both.
I'm starting my registry in a couple weeks since my mom wants to take me. H will probably be bored doing it so he'll hang out with my dad while we go.
I'm not sure what I really want off my registry but the one thing I really look forward to is a friend who said she's going to make a blanket for the baby.
I am feeling pretty good. It's nice to eat more normally again. I have not started a registry though. I have a list of what I need and DH and I will likely buy the majority.
How are you feeling?
I'm feeling just fine! I get tired easily, and probably should be napping right now instead of on here
Have you started your registrey yet?
I have an amazon registry that I set up pretty much as a Christmas wish list for my family if they ask. I think there are about 10 things on there.
What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registrey?
The Uppa PiggyBack for our stroller so DS can roll with us.
If this is baby number 2 or more, what is one thing you feel us new moms def. should registery for or get and one thing that is a waste of our money?
I would suggest putting infant feeding items on your registry if you have enough people invited to your shower(s). You'll be using it before you know it, and it's nice to have ahead of time. Baby food processor, bowls, snack traps, the take 'n toss cups are great for baby to learn to drink water, silicone tipped spoons, etc.
No need for wipes warmer (dry out wipes and have caused small fires), microwave bottle sterilizer (literally NEVER used it), and I didn't like having a nursing stool, but some people do.
A possibility was born the day you were born and will live as long as you live.
I am currently feeling pretty good. I am so excited for my Ultrasound tomorrow!
I love my boppy! I also loved the bouncer chair. I couldn't shower or pretty much live without it.
I barely used the bumbo seat too. I also hate the diaper pail we have. It is aweful.

I have felt pretty good for the past 3 or so weeks. We are registered at Target and BRU, but we still need to go through it and add/delete some. The number one item I hope to get is the mamaROO (bouncer/swing), we saw it at Bye Bye Baby and fell in love with it!
I'm feeling great - I get tired really easily and my legs hurt if I have to stand a lot during the day but overall I've been pretty lucky so far with pregnancy.
We haven't started our registry yet - probably will in the next couple of weeks. Things I will likely want the most - stroller/car seat/travel system - whichever we end up going with and a breast pump (I'm going to have to go back to work at 12 weeks and want to make sure I've got this figured out and those things are expensive!)

QOTD: I'm feeling great for the most part. Just tired, constantly hungry, and still have sore boobies. Not bad for 21 weeks, right?
We have started a registry at Target. The thing I am most hoping for is a glider to complete our nursery furniture ensemble.
QOTD: How are you feeling? Have you started your registrey yet? What is the one thing you absolutely want off your registrey?
I have been feeling great, I have not gotten the 2nd tri energy I read about. But I really cannot complain because this has been a very smooth pregnancy. I have started and completed my registry at Target and BRU. I am really excited about the Rock & Play Sleeper and the cute clothes I registered for.
