Trying to Get Pregnant

Good Intentions

DH has good intentions to help me not "wonder, worry or stress" about testing to see if we are pregnant. I explained to him how all the DPO and pregnancy tests work and he simply asked "why don't you test after you miss your period? That way if you start you know you don't have to test, but if you miss it you can test to see?" I love my DH, and he is trying to help me out, but I'm already anxious with wonder and I had said I was going to test on Wednesday. Now after DH's latest request to wait to test, I will have to wait until Sunday. :( I guess it is for the best, but I'm dying to know if these super sore boobs and weird feelings "down there" mean anything.

Re: Good Intentions

  • Hubby's been reading TCOYF with me, and follows my chart sometimes.  I'm sure when our time for TTC comes, he'll be doing the same thing.  I'll be all "but I wanna knooooow!" and when it's negative he'll be all, "I was right!"

And then I might punch him.

My forehead is starting to hurt...

Men don't always get it. Perhaps if they were the ones to get KU then we wouldn't have to  so much during a single day. lol

I agree...they don't get it. I've tried to explain things to him that if I am in fact KU then I need to start watching EVERYTHING that I goes into/on my body because it can have an affect. And I understand that he want to let what happens happen, but if I can assure that my baby is safe and getting what it needs right off the bat, not to mention explain what all these weird things are going on, then that is what I need to do. But being the good wife that I am I won't go against DH's wishes since we are in this together. So I'm just being cautious about eveyrthing now just in case. I just wish he would let me test so I would know if I'm a Mama...something I've wanted for a very very long time.

  • DH is starting to pay more to my charting too but when I told him I think AF is on her way, he made the mistake of saying "Relax, it'll happen for us soon."
