Hi ladies! I hope your weekends were fun!
It has been a very busy weekend in our household. DH and I have been decorating for fall and Halloween (my favorite holiday) as well as finishing up our bathroom remodeling. I didn't exercise yesterday, but I did get in an hour of exercise tonight. I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown and a 10 minute ab workout.I am pooped and ready for bed.
How were your weekend workouts?
Re: Weekend Workouts::::::::
Congrats on completing your first 5K! That is fantastic.
GL with TTC. I am on CD 2 as well!
Congrats Amberleigh! It's a great feeling, huh?
I had to unexpectedly work this weekend so I didn't get my planned 11 mile run in:( I just ran 6 yesterday. Plus it is insanely hot here so I'm not sure that I would have gotten a long run in anyway.
That's a great accomplishment! Congrats!
DH and I actually made it out in all this storming and got to the gym to work arms and do some cardio. Our cruise is in 102 days. lol Trying VERY hard to get back into shape for that.
WOW - 6 miles? 11 miles? I think my legs would fall off!!! holy cow! That's impressive!
Way to go Gingham! I would have been proud of the 6 miles!
11 miles is wonderful! It finally cooled off here, but it rained all weekend. So no outdoor running for me. I am hoping to get some outdoor running in tomorrow. I am really dreading the treadmill this winter. It is so much better to be outside!
A year and a half ago I could barely run a mile so anyone can do it! You just have to slowly work your way up.
I know Brandy - treadmill runs are tough. So boring. Luckily here, most of the year we have decent outside running weather.
Great job ladies!
I did my usual group personal training class on Saturday. Today I ran 5K and later went for a 3K walk with DH and the pup. Woot!
Gingham. . .recommend your running shoes. It's time for a new pair and I am debating between Asics and Brooks. The Brooks feel so good, but I love the look of the Asics. What do you run in and how long do they usually last? The shoe rep told me the Brooks Glycerin would last for 600 miles.
Great job everybody! I like to see all of the runners in here, although I of course have love for all of you non-running workout ladies too
My half marathon is three weeks out, so I did an 11 miler today. My knees are feeling it now!
Sorry I'm late to this. Hopefully you see it. I actually have the Brooks Glycerin and I LOVE them. My last 3 pairs of running shoes have been Brooks and I don't think I will ever go back. I wear them for about 8 months (not quite sure how many miles) which is probably longer than I should be, but they hold up well. I highly recommend them!
