So after yet another night of DD waking each hour (!) and me feeding her back to sleep we decided to do sleep training or at least try to do something about it. I have read NCSS and have implemented the stable bedtime routine, bath, book, breast and then bed and she was off to sleep quickly at 6.30pm. But the next step, trying to have DH calm her back to sleep the first time she wakes up does not seem very successful. I am listening to her crying and feel terrible about it, but at least he is there to comfort her. We decided to give him half an hour and if she is not sleeping by then I go up and nurse her to sleep again. Wish me luck!
