Have to share my excitement!

We were really unsure if we would make it home for a visit/baby shower before baby came. We didn't really want to travel cross-country anytime after December, but the month of December just wasn't working out with my job.

Then I was unsure how "early" I was willing to have a shower, but we decided together that it's more important to see family and friends than to worry about timing as much.

Anyway, long story short, we are going home!! I am SO EXCITED!! MH hasn't seen his parents since last Sept and I haven't seen my dad since Feb, and my mom since Oct, so it will be SO good to get home and be able to celebrate the coming of baby with them. I can't wait!!! Now, I just need mid-November to get here............:)

    that's exciting!  I have been to early showers for the same reason and don't see anything wrong with them.  If anything, the mom-to-be always seems to enjoy the shower more because they still feel good!

    How awesome!  I agree it is more about sharing the time with them than worrying about how early/late you are having the shower :)
