Popping/Clicking noise coming from belly?

Anyone else having this??  I googled it and there are tons of posts about it but nothing saying what it is!

Has anyone ever heard of this?  I am tempted to call my doc...

It sounds specifically like cracking knuckles (tiny knuckles)...a click or pop

It happens when I am relaxing and the baby is relaxing between movement.

    I have thought I heard this a couple times in the last week. It was just one crack/pop at a time and it happened on separate nights but I was confused because I wasn't moving so it wasn't "me". I'll ask my MW this week too!

    I too thought that it was me...because with this pregnancy my hips and ankles (just about anything at this point) have been cracking and popping but this is when I am at a total rest (ex: loungin on the laptop)

    I see that so many people have read this posting...anyone have ANY information???

    Hehe as I was reading this thread I heard a very loud pop. Yeah, my underwire broke. 

     

    Whenever I rock in a chair I hear bubbles going up and down, but never popping or clicking.

    I'm lurking from 0-3 because I'm bored tonight so I'll tell you what my OB told me... Its most likely just random baby joints popping. They're pretty bendy but also pretty squished by the third tri and things pop when they're trying to get comfy in there. Hope this sets your minds at ease and enjoy the last few weeks of being pregnant because you're going to be suuuuper sleep deprived for at least six weeks ;) (but its totally worth it)

    Mine is my stomach it sounds like its coming from my upper left rib because thats pretty much where my poor stomach got squished. its when air gets trapped there and I breath. It pushes it back and forth making the crackle.

    I have this too A LOT actually it's freaky and my husband heard it last time as well.  I am seeing a reg OB and a high risk OB as well and asked him about this last week.  I explained it the same way you are.  He said that it is most likely the babies joints/ligaments popping/stretching but he couldn't really tell me for sure.  He said some mothers can feel a vibrating sensation that makes them thing their little one is having a seizure or something.  He explained that this is one of those things that isn't easily explained but as long as you are not feeling any pain and the baby is checking out fine then not to worry.  I have to get a ultrasound and a NST a week and Grahm is doing fine so don't worry unless you are feeling pain or anything else that just doesn't feel right Wink
