Hi everyone! I'm almost 21 weeks and I'm new to The Bump, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm active on another parenting site but it's one that sometimes requires a "thick skin" to say the least lol. I've met a lot of nice, helpful women on that site though, so I thought I'd come here and expand my circle a little
I guess I should talk about myself a little bit to make this a proper introduction. I'm a proud Army wife and my husband and I are expecting our first child on February 5th. Her name is Clementine, and she is already ridiculously spoiled
I absolutely intend to breastfeed (for at least a year) and have a natural childbirth, and I sincerely hope my body works with me enough to allow me to do both. I believe in making informed decisions regarding pregnancy, and it drives me crazy when I see people who don't care how their babies get here, as long as they do. RESEARCH, people! I plan to delay solids for at least 6 months and to babywear at least part time.
I'm pro-choice, and I don't believe in induction until you're past your due date by at least a week.
My husband and I have been stationed at Ft. Bragg for a little under a year, and I still don't know many people around here, so if there are any Bragg mamas, I'd love to make some friends
