Lainey's Owl Shower (PiPs)

I had my first really big baby shower on Saturday and I think it was a smashing success! I had a great time (despite swollen feet and a severely itchy stomach- fun times!). We got SO many useful gifts, and it was awesome to have everyone together to celebrate! The shower was nice and low key- my favorite kind! : )) Yay! Baby girl is off to a great start!! Here are several pics from the day-

Cake- which looked a little funny (IMO) but tasted great.

A small portion of the loot- all of which was awesomely useful (and not a ton of clothing!!)

And finally- the high chair my Aunt and Uncle got me- way over the top price wise, but hey- it was a gift! We get it sometime this week!!

I love all of these owl themes! That cake is adorable.

I've never seen a highchair like that. What kind is it? It looks really neat.

The cake was really tasty- I just thought the owl looked a little funky! Hehe. : ))

The high chair is awesome- it has great reviews. It's called the Boon Flair! I can't wait to get it in and set it up! It's so space age looking to me, but I really like it a lot!

Wowza! That high chair!! Very cool that they got it for you! It's always fun to get things that you would never splurge to get yourself. Take good care of it - you will probably be able to get a pretty penny for it if you sale it after baby outgrows it. (I'm always looking for ways to make an extra buck...for shoes, of course!)

Isn't it so cool? And I would have never bought it for myself. We knew if we didn't get it for a gift, we would never get it! It comes in hot pink- which I was tempted by, but we decided on orange to use for future babies. : ))
