So since Similac powder cannot be found on shelves, and I can't afford to keep buying the ready to feed liquid, I have decided to give enfamil a try, but there seem to be 100 different enfamil products. Tonight I bought the basic Enfamil Lipil, but then I saw that there was enafmil premium, which is supposed to be the closest to breatmilk. What is the difference between the two? I have been using Similac advance and am trying to find the closest thing to that in an enfamil product. Thanks!
Re: Thinking of switching to enfamil - need advice
I am using the Similac ready to feed but had a hard time finding it in the first two days after the recall. So I called DD's pedi and asked what to use if I couldn't find the RTF and he said we could try the Enfamil Premium powder. Luckily though I have found most stores are getting the RTF back in stock.
Are stores in your area not reducing the price of the RTF to match the powder while the recall is going on? They are around here. Also, I have found some of the smaller 12 oz cans that are not included in the recall at stores here so I am using those for at night and when I am out and about and RTF during the day.
