Hi there,
My DH and I would like to try to get pregnant when DS is around 7 months old. We want to just have two children close in age and because of DH's job the timing just works out. The only problem is I"m an exclusive pumper. I know it is harder to get pregnant when breastfeeding/ pumping. So should I quit in order to get pregnant or how does that work out?
TIA!
Re: Getting pregnant while breastfeeding?
You don't ovulate as often if you are breastfeeding, but I would recommend to start charting, so that by then you will know if you are ovulating, or if you should stop pumping so that you do ovulate...Hope this helps.
Just click on the FertilityFriend ticker, it is a great and informative site.
I would try posting this on the Breastfeeding board...
This. I've never even been pregnant so I haven't got the slightest idea. I'd guess that this is the case w/most of the women on this board. Sorry I can't be of more help.
I would start charting to see when you are ovulating. AF didn't become somewhat regular for me until I was nursing twice a day and ds was 12 months old.
Try the 2 under two board as well!!
You can most definitely get pregnant while breastfeeding. One of my good friends is an EB and has three children...the last two were not planned!
