Help! WHen did you lower the crib all the way?

Our crib has 3 levels. We lowered it to the second level a few weeks ago, but now that he is sitting up, I had DH lower it all the way (last level down). It is so low!  Good luck trying to bend over to pull him out! No more bed skirt???!!!!!! 

Did you guys do this yet or am I too early and just being crazy?

    I just did it last month. I'm glad I did, because he is already tall and trying to pull himself up I kind of wish there was an even lower level!

    Yesterday.  She learned to pull herself up on Friday morning.  I still have her bed skirt on.  I just tucked the excess under the mattress.

    DH just lowered it all the way today. DS was "swinging like a monkey from his mobile" earlier this week so we took that off then lowered it today since he is getting more curious about pulling himself up. .

    Around 5.5 months.

    Once they can sit up (and I am not talking about them getting themselves into sitting) it should be dropped.  They start figuring out things fast!  DD just started pulling herself to standing last week, but I didn't want to find out that she learned to do it by finding her on the floor.

    Ours only had 2 levels and the 2nd one is all the way down.  We had to lower it because she had been sitting and was showing signs of pulling up at the time.  Good thing because the next day she was pulling up!
