    DD (now 2yo) crawled all over the apartment (which was mostly carpeted)?

    My LO mostly scoots (very close to crawling) and it's generally on the carpet or our bed.

    We have floor time on his bedding set quilt. Once he really starts to crawl, I doubt we'll be able to confine him to any one area.

    My 4 yo never really crawled.  My 2 yo was a turbo crawler from 6-11 months.  She would make a beeline for the open bathroom door - the route was mostly carpeted.  She would put the bolt cover from the toilet in her mouth EVERY time.  So beyond gross.
