I am SO excited!!! And just wanted to share. She left 2 weeks ago for hawaii and I took a hpt before the day she left and it was a bfn. The next day was my beta BFP! But I didn't want to tell her over text that she was going to be a Granny. So I told her I had cysts and couldn't cycle again for now. (She only has me and my brother, and my brother is not at the baby making point of his life yet.) My mom has been SO excited to be a Granny her whole life, we talked about my kids all the time when I was a kid. And going through IF broke both of our hearts.
So DH and I are are picking her and her bf up at the airport in the morning. I have made up a sign that says "Welcome Home Granny and Grandpa Bob!!" I am just so excited!! I think it will seem that much more real when she knows. I have a feeling I will be in tears before she even walks through the terminal. Have I mentioned I am SO excited. I also got her a birthday card and inside I am going to write "I know you wanted a DVD player, but I hope you will love a grandchild just as much."
That is all. I am just so excited I needed to tell someone! This whole keeping it a secret thing is hard work!
