Unfortunately my gut feeling was accurate on Friday...
My dr was baffled by my particular situation and said from what she could see on the u/s, that the baby more than likely stopped growing around the third week or so of my pg. She could see a teeny tiny little sack that appeared to only have some tissue but no baby. She said by 7wks we should've definitely been able to see more than we did and we know the dates are right on the mark. I had bloodwork done to check my hormone levels and had a secondary u/s done at the radiologist office just to confirm my drs findings...and, no baby.
All this came to light on my 5th Wedding Anniversary.... making this the worst anniversary DH & I have yet had. I've been crying nonstop and even though the dr advised us that it should be safe to TTC again come November, I'm terrified that this could happen again.
The only thing that has been helping me pull through this emotional time is my DS. His smiles, giggles, hugs, & kisses are miraculous healing mechanisms. I'm thankful everyday for him and know this time would have been MUCH worse if DH & I weren't blessed with having him in our lives.
I wish you all a H&H 9mo! Thank you for all the support and kind words over the last few days...
Re: Saying goodbye to you ladies :(
I am so sorry.
It will take time. After my m/c I didn't think I ever wanted to TTC again because I was so afraid of going through that pain again.
You will heal, I promise, but give yourself and DH time to be sad right now.
I wish I could give you a hug.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Not that anytime is a good time either, but on your anniversary is just brutal.
If it gives you any hope, I went through a very similar experience as you, back in May/June. It was hard to have faith that we should try again. Give yourself time to grieve this loss. When you are ready, you will know.
Take care.
I'm so sorry to hear that.
I went through a m/c before my DD and then had one after before I got pg with this one and it does seem to be "easier" to get through with a little one around to make you smile.
