So i'm looking at woven wraps. I'm not ready to buy yet but will be shortly. I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.
I'm 5'3" and wear a size small. I live in Houston, TX and have a very hot-natured baby. I'm thinking a Vatanai or Ellaroo will be best for me given the hot climate. Is this correct? How do the two compare? I've handled and Ellaroo but not a Vat. LO is currently approximately 12 lbs and I want a wrap that will last through toddlerhood. I want to be able to do a variety of carries as well.
I'm thinking I would need a size 5, but I'm not sure. I'm currently using a cotton gauze wrap that is 5 yards long and it seems to be working well, although I haven't tried many different carries.
I've been looking on TBW and it's pretty overwhelming. Kwinters, I've seen you offering to shop for other people, do you think I could use your services once I get ready to buy?
TIA
Re: wrap questions...
Hey, I'd love to shop for you! I have both a Vat and two Ellaroos. The Ellaroos are very pretty and light but I honestly prefer my Vat (and would use it more if it were a better size for me) because it feels just as lightweight but I get more support. I'll shop TBW a bit for you and see what comes up, Vats are sometimes a tad bit harder to find but with winter coming up I'm starting to see more of them.
And you have a pm
