Hi ladies,
My DH and I will be moving to Charleston in November. I am 8 weeks pregnant and will be going to a midwife (in a hospital) here before heading out there. I need some advice when it comes to finding something out there! Are there any hospitals that have midwives and OB's? Any recommendations? We'll be on TriCare, so I'll have to verify that I can see them, but any advice would be incredibly welcome!
Thank you!

Re: New with questions!
I wanted to wish you luck and I have not doubts you'll be able to find what you need ! I can relate because we recently relocated from the upstate to the lowcountry (Bluffton) 4 weeks from our due date, we're still waiting , any day now ! I just researched online and had my appointment set up as soon as we arrived and so far, things have worked out. It was hard for me being so close to our due date and everything in place, but the way I see it, babies are born somewhere everyday and as long as he arrives a healthy little baby, I'm happy!
Another thing you could do is to look for Mommy groups, especially if you don't know anyone, and get to know them, not only for before the baby , but for play dates after wards !
Try meet up.com and Raising them .com, I've found Mom's in my area this way and it helps especially when you're new !
Good luck and I know you'll do well and congrats on the little peanut !!!
