I have three framed pieces of wall art I planned to hang on the same wall that my crib is on. Now that I see the crib in the room, I'm wondering if this is a giant safety hazard...i.e. if there is potential for the frames to fall off the wall and fall in the crib. Part of me says that a) they will be securely anchored to the wall and b) we can pull the crib out from the wall so it's not directly under the frames...but the other part of me says I didn't think this through before setting up my nursery "plan." Any helpful guidelines/info on what, if anything, could be used as decor on the wall behind/above a crib?

We did it - we hung a lightweight canvas above our crib. It's secured very well to the wall. When he is able to reach it, we may consider moving it.

We're not hanging any art over the cribs themselves because of earthquake danger.
Unable to even.
