First mom to mom sale

I just got back from my first Moms of Multiples Mom to Mom sale. I know it is SO early for me to look at anything but we will need to budget well for these babies. Plus, they only have them in the Spring and Fall. So, I went. They were so organized and set up in the department store style. These ladies put on a wonderful sale and were all so nice. I got a lot of bibs, onsies, and sleepers for $15. Plus a tub and a swing which were a steal and looked new.

I googled Mom to Mom sales in my home state. The website I used was Mom2MomList.com. They have them all listed by date. The code MOM (at least for my area) stands for Moms of Multiples. Then they list how many tables or Dept style. A friend suggested it and I'm glad she did!

They are really big in Michigan. I heard about them from all my mommy friends that still live there. Since moving to CA, I haven't heard anything or found any info on them out here.

Also search for the Just Between Friends Sales, those are just like those.

Don't feel like it's too early to start buying stuff either, you will be so happy down the road that you started early. I started buying swings and bouncers off CL at about 12 weeks and am so glad I spread out our expenses.

Thanks for saying that!!! You start to wonder if you are being a bit crazy. Everyone says you will get things at your shower but we need two of many things. Our family and friends are generous and wonderful people BUT these babies are our responsibilty to provide for. I'm trying to spread out the expenses so it will be more doable. One part of me is terrified doing this since you never know what can happen but I know I need to enjoy what I can as well. Again thanks for your support!!

Flutterby I have a friend who is president of the board of the MOM group in my area (yes it is so big it is an actual non profit), she may know whether there are other CA MOM groups, sales, etc. Let me know if you would like me to check it out with her.
