The first thing everyone asks me when they find out I'm pregnant is "What names do you like?" When I tell people we really don't have anything picked out, they think I'm crazy !
We've thought about names, but not seriously. I feel like we have plenty of time! Especially since we don't plan on making final decisions until we actually meet the LO, and we're team green.
Re: Anyone have no idea about names?
We had a conversation about names at a big family dinner we had a couple weeks ago. I'm literally laughing out loud remember some of the crazy suggestions! Silly in laws!
Yeah my SIL has been acting like she has final say on what the kiddo is named. I'm trying to keep my choices quiet since everyone's a critic it seems.
Edited to add: I love that the students are so excited! That is really fun.

It's also a good idea not to share your names in advance, since people seem to feel free to tell you it sucks. Somehow, they don't do that once the baby has arrived and named.
We're pretty settled on a girl name, but are close to clueless on a boy name. We're team green so we will need both.

I think my parents were on the way to check out of the hospital as they finally agreed on my name
You have also of time. We have our names picked out, it wasn't easy to come up with them since DH vetoed so many of the names I liked but I'm pretty sure we're set now. With DS's name and the boy name we picked out this time just sort of popped into our minds and we instantly agreed. This baby girl name has taken some convincing on my part but I love it so much I can't imagine any other name now.
You have plenty of time. We waited until we met LO too. We knew he was going to be a boy and it still took us SIX hours to name him!
We totally have our girl name, but if we're having another boy we're in trouble!
DS was born in March and we didn't even discuss names before January. I suspest that will happen this time around.
My attitude was that the child would leave the hospital with a name. As long as we had one by then, it didn't matter.
We have an idea of what we would call the baby if it's a boy but have no clue on what to call it if it's a girl. There are no girl names that even come to mind that we like. We are team green and like ppl said, as long as the baby leaves the hospital with a name, it's all good, so don't worry, there's time.
My hubby won't give me a serious answer either!
Picking a name is HARD. It has such a huge impact on the baby's entire life! I am hoping that once we find out the sex that will help get the ball rolling. Plus maybe feeling the baby move will make things feel more "real".
We're not in a rush as long as we know what the name is by the time the baby is born! (Or maybe shortly thereafter.)
