Still have milk?!

DS weaned himself in July. It was a slow transition down to one feeding per day. That went on for at least a month. So, TMI, but there is still milk when I squeeze, even two months later. And I've only squeezed twice. I don't care, just thought it was strange. I never produced much milk but I thought it would "dry up" after a few weeks.

That's all:)

Re: Still have milk?!

  • I refuse to squeeze! After an absurdly painful few weeks of engorgement were finally relieved by squeezing until I could squeeze no more in the shower back in July, I haven't so much as tapped my own nipple again. Really, I'm still traumatized.

  • You may be able to get milk out for a year.  Seriously.

  • I know a girl whose youngest is six.  She can still get a little.... (stopped nursing at 18 months)
