BH question...

in 3rd Trimester
Sunday night I was in L&D for contractions...At first I thought they were BH but then they started becoming painful and consistant.  They did an internal and said that my cervix was still closed, gave me 2L of fluids and sent me home.  Now since then, I am still having them...not as consistant and somedays pretty spread apart between.  I know that most pregnant woman get them and more frequently during the 3rd tri.    I placed another call to the OB a little while ago and they said that unless they become more consistant to just try and relax and drink plenty of fluid.  But in the mean time I just wanted to ask you ladies has anyone else found them to be uncomfortable or is it just me?TIA

    Some of them can be.  Last week I had some pretty consistantly and drank lots of water as my MW directed and rested on my left side.  I started getting real contractions that started in my back and went around my belly pretty consistantly.  That lasted about four hours and then nothing...  lol  Disappointing but oh well.

    My BH's have really stepped up their game here the past week, too. I've had them go from my lower back to across the abdomen but they're always inconsistent. They are getting downright painful. I just try and relax and drink fluids. Just waiting for the real thing. I'm getting tired of all this "practice".
