I know a lot of people hate the nickname Preggo and Preggers, I personally kinda like them.
Are there Pregnancy nicknames that you like?
My favorite is Pregosaurus, I don't know why, it just always makes me laugh.

I kinda like the preggo/preggers nicknames! Maybe that's because I've waited so long for this, it's kinda like a badge of honor...
My favorite one I just heard was a name that a coworker calls my friend who just announced her pregnancy..."Captain Preggo." That had me in stitches!
See now this one is funny. The other ones drive me crazy.
he will rub my bump and whisper to LO "its almost time to break out of the capsule" than will give me a sneaky mad scientist look..We are dorks..
DH calls me "furnace wife" because i'm always so warm (and apparently i put off a lot of heat as well...)
and in a very upsetting episode with the mirror just after showering one day, i lamented to DH that i felt like a "fatty gorilla".
the name has stuck, but thankfully now i can laugh at it. it was either laugh or cry.

I just started waddling and a friend of mine referred to me as the Penguin. I guess I didn't mind much.
One that I hate is an older friend of ours refers to me as the "great white mama" I am definitely not a fan!

DS is obsessed with my bump. I think he has some latent BFing attachment issues and the bump looks like a giant boob now, so...
He's taken to just referring to me as "The Belly."
Oh, and DH calls me "Inca" which I think is supposed to be short for "incubator." ??
Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) at work calls me Momma at this point. We have something like 60 staff, but this is the first time in four years that we''ve only had one pregnant lady on staff so it actually makes me feel kind of special.
It's funny, though, that there are maybe a handful of people who bug me when they say it, because it's almost like they are mocking me, whereas others are being sweet (i.e. "How's Momma doing today?" versus "Okay, whatever you say, MOMMA.")
Also, BIL calls me Preggie, which I don't love, but I adore him so it's okay.
I, too, am the only pregnant one at work. Only mine varies between Momma and Lil-Momma. I like it, too.
Only thing that bugs me is that if I say anything to anyone in nothing but a sweet and pleasant tone they instantly say, "oh well, your just pregnant." NO. maybe it's YOU and not me. lol!
