I started showing I think around 14/15 weeks...well I noticed it anyways, other people may not have.
Around week 25 I had an odd (young guy) coworker ask me if I'd been gaining weight. LOL Who asks that? I was like, um yeah, pointing to my stomach. I told him pregnancy can do that. And just a couple weeks ago we passed in the hallway and chatted a bit and he remarked how tired I looked. Um, thanks? WTF? Why is how I look so under scrutiny with this dude. Weird. I feel sorry for his future GF/wife.
I am [was?] a preschool teacher. Before taking my leave I told the kids about how I had a baby in my belly and how I'd visit them with my own baby soon.
Well.. I almost immediately regretted it. After that it was NON-STOP "Is your baby here yet? Is he coming?" for WEEKS until my last day, and even a few "Did your baby die? Why isn't he here?" LOL
Now they're asking the new teachers because I'm not there anymore. Sorry, newbies!
I have people constantly asking when I'm due like ever since I was 25 weeks. I'm now 32. And they always respond with are you having twins and then when I say it's one they ask are you sure? I'm like geez am I that big?!?
1) Woman with a small baby, checking out, asked "When's baby coming?" I said "Christmas Eve" and this woman must have been an angel... she said, "HOW EXCITING! WHAT A GREAT CHRISTMAS YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE!" Oh... I love her. She talked to me for 5 minutes about how great the hospital is and how good their food is. Then she asked if I had a name picked out, and I said, "Landon," and she said "That's what I was going to name my baby if it would have been a boy!" I am so SICK of people telling me how "different" that name is... FINALLY, someone who appreciates my name choice!
2) Woman in a scooter (VERY overweight), who was a pain in the arse from the moment she walked in the door... She looks at my belly and asks, "Baby?" What would she have done if I would have said "no"? I was kind of hoping for this conversation: Her: Baby? Me: Nope. Her: I think you need to lose some weight then. Me: I think you need to look in the mirror before you offer advice.
3) Final woman: "Aw, you're with child!" with the big belly motion... OK, maybe I missed something... but did we just revert to biblical times?
Apparently, I was showing before I was even pregnant. I had a little bit of a belly (and that is the only part that was "heavy," and customers asked me all the time, "When are you due?" OMG---how embarrassing! I really started showing though around week 13 I think, and I haven't stopped hearing about how big I am since then, just because my sister was 4 months along before she showed at all, but she was also 18 and trying to hide it under hoodies and stuff.
not sure when I went from bloat to actual baby bump but I was in maternity pants but 10/11 wks and probably had a true bump by 15wks

comments and looks. Just recently I've noticed people like to stair at the huge pregnant lady waddling around. Comments I commonly get "are you having twins?", "when are you due?...really? Are you sure you're gonna make it?"
Got any funny stories that go with your pregnancy?
all i have to say is pregnancy brain really exists!
