I'm going to burn this house down!

This is the fourth time I've turned on the wrong burner on the stove.  Twice other things have been on the burner when I turned it on! Last night I was trying to make tea and bake cookies at the same time.  I turned on the burner where the pan of cookies were sitting and burned the cookies right up! Multitasking= FAIL. DH is going to come home to ashes.

    I stacked the mail at the back of the stove, just a few random postcard junk stuff. And turned on the front burner or I thought I did. Well when my kitchen had an odd orange glow to it I realized my mail was burning! Now Im really careful nothings on the stove.

    I havent turned on the wrong burner yet-but I have forgotten to turn the burner/oven off like 4 times. My Dh noticed all 4 times and now when I cook he comes behind me to make sure everything is off! He is shocked I am a firefighters daughter- but hey when baby brain hits!
