I wish all these numbers meant something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the OB on Monday and she was very surprised & informed me that I was 3-4 cm dilated, 50% effaced.  "Give us a call when the contractions are painful & 7-10 minutes apart."  Well, isn't that fan-frickin-tastic?!  I keep hoping Emma will make an appearance soon, but I hear babies come when they're ready.  SO tired of waiting...and being fat, but mostly waiting... I think.

    I hear you. I swear those numbers just get our hopesup. Your doctor should not have said that. You can be 3-4cm and 50% effaced for 2 weeks. I had my appointment last week and I was 3cm and 80% effaced and I got really excited at first but the doctor was not the least bit concerned so I calme myself down. I know it is so hard because I am sure you are SUPER excited as am I but we have to give the sweet babies their time-they will be here soon!!! :) Best of luck!

    Thanks!  I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way and I'm glad you like LO's name :)  DH and I were looking for something classic that would fit her at any age: Emma Jane, it is!  lol 

    By the way, I love Ellie- too cute!
