News update from DRockH!!!

April sent me a message on FB and asked that I share with all of you.

Abridged version - (will write out longer version when I get home)- started contracting sat night, we to hospital at 1 am and they tapered off so was sent home at 5am... Sunday the contractions stopped all together . Monday I didn't go to work because was having heavy contractions again all night sun night/monday all day. So tuesday morning at 2am started having really having stable contrax so went back to hospital. To have the taper off again and was sent home AGAIN so I had ob appt wednesday so tried to just get to that point to discuss options, by that time I was mentally and physically drained, not getting more then 3-4 hrs of sleep. Got to ob appt, dr checked me and I was finally 4cms!!! Sent me straight to hospital where I was admitted, hookedup to pitocin and epidural (heaven) and was told to just relax and let the magic happen, 24 hrs later 10cm dialated except for on side of my cervix being like 9.5! Boo so finally tried to push but baby wasn't budging, at 7pm last night was wheeled in for c-section!

Charlie Tea was born on 9/23/10 at 7:52pm, 20.5 inches long, 7lbs 14ozs! Both mom and baby are healthy and happy! We are so happy she is here and can't wait to post pics!
