Anyone else been having BH contractions a lot? I have been having them on and off for three days now. My uterus tightens up like a vice every time I stand up! It's so annoying and kind of painful.
I talked to a nurse yesterday and she said to rest and drink more water, which I did. They got a little better but I'm still having them today. It's going to be a long pregnancy if this keeps happening for 14 more weeks...
Re: Ugh, BH contractions...
I'm with you - just in the past couple of days. They're very uncomfortable, though I guess for me at least they aren't painful. Weird distinction to make.

Huh - I also get tightening when I stand up - especially from the couch, but didn't think anything of it. Thats BH?
But keep us posted...
I had 10+/hour, all day, every day, during my entire pregnancy with Lyla. Which was laughable, since the books/doctors told you to call anytime you had more than 6/hour. They were very regular, too... every 3 mins when I was hospitalized for monitoring at 24 weeks. It was scary and uncomfortable, but fortunately harmless in the end. I did do a lot of walking (lived in the city and didn't drive), which didn't help, but my OB said bedrest is more of a CYA thing for doctors, so didn't prescribe it. When I did go into labor, those contrax felt drastically different... more of a deep, burning cramp that literally brought me to my knees.
This time, I'm having much less... around 2-4/hour on average. I'm chasing around a toddler this time, though, so I'm actually surprised I'm not feeling more. But I'm not nearly as stressed about it, after carrying Lyla until 39 weeks.
