::::::crying at my desk:::::: CONGRATS :::::said sarcastically::::: JUST KIDDING! Really that is awesome! So want to know your secret. If it is diet and exercise FORGET IT......LMAO!
Thanks! Im not gonna lie it has been hard. I just started out walking everyday, then I joined a gym, then I started running. Next thing I know I am training for my 2nd half triathalon....which i never thought I would do. I have always been a pretty healthy eater but with pregnancy that was out the window...LOL
OMG that's awesome...& I am SO jealous. How long have you been working at it? I just started working on losing weight..granted I barely gained any weight during PP because I lost 24lbs during my 1st trimester but I was about 40lbs overweight preprego. I have to know what kept you motivated to working out? What do you do with DC during your workouts?Have you changed your eating habits? Any suggestions for newbies?
Last week I started to do "Couch to 5K" & am signed up to run a 5K with a team from work in January. Plus I started counting calories religiously but am open to any & ALL advice.
Congratulations...I am so proud of you & I don't even know you.?
Thanks ladies! Yeah when you go from 125 to 195...for a small framed person that was a big shocker for me...but all is lost now. "give me the credit card honey Im going to help the economy out some by buying some jeans" LOL.
Honestly it just became routine for me. I stay at home all day and as soon as the hubby gets home I head for the gym or run,swim...etc. It is a hobby for me and stress relief. I know not all people would say it is a hobby more like tourture but not for me. I really do love to excersise. It has become a life style. Keep up the good work. Counting calories is big. It will help you out so much. keeping a food journal really put into perspective how much I was intaking through out the day and how much I really didnt need. I also have a great friend who has been training for triathalons and we were pregnant together. We keep each other motivated. My gym offers child care but no one can take as good of care of my baby like the dh.
Congratulations! That is truly awesome!!! I just started running (and signed up for my first 5K). I'm hoping this will be my answer (want to lose 55 lbs). Keep up the awesome work, girl!
Good for you!!!!!! Gaining during pregnancy when you are small framed or on the short side is brutal! I gained 65 and have lost 52 so far. And I am only 5'2". Staying focused is the key!! Congrats to you again for losing it all and then some!!!
I'm below my pre-pg weight (did it with exercise and watching my portions) but I've really slacked on my workouts lately. I count running up and down the stairs and hopping over toys as my workouts these days
I put on 65 pounds pregnant and when I tried to lose weight, I ended up getting a hernia and needed surgery (crunches after a c-section - not good!).
Then I got healthy, started losing weight again and tore my miniscus in my knee and have to have surgery again next week! Can you believe it?
Trying to get healthy is killing me!!
Hopefully, in a few weeks I'll start again and lose the 65 pounds. Right now I weigh what I did after giving birth- a year ago!!!
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

All right! Congrats! Last I checked, I lost 63 (gained 55 during preg).
