I didn't see your post until #/ replied to it. I'm sorry. Forgive me?
Of course. Hey, what happened to your ticker? And mine for that matter...
I wanted to update you on Mia's appointment. It went fantastic.***
***Not.
Obviously the lidocaine didn't do squat because she felt every injection. And it was like 8 or 9 of them. But she took it like a champ, didn't shed a single tear.
So she banged it out and we're all done. She hops up and goes to step down from the table and she starts looking weird. And we're talking to her and she's not responding. She just laid her head down on my chest. Yeah, she almost blacked out. Then she puked all over the place. ::sigh::
We're home now and she's acting normal. The doc said it was probably just her nerves. Super fun.

Yeah, alternaticker is broken so I had to make one of the gooey lilypie ones.
I'm sorry. The poor thing. I'm glad she is okay now but that must have been so scary for both of you. Is she sore or anything? How often does she have to get the shots?
Oh man, the poor thing. It makes me want to cry that she has to get those shots.
Has the doc ever had a kid almost black out like that before?
Are you going to do anything special for her? Maybe take her to get a mani/pedi or something? You could make it a routine for her Dr. appts to go and do something special like that afterward if she is feeling up to it.

As many times as you've talked me off a ledge? I'd never be THAT rude to you!

Yeah, it was VERY scary.
She said they're a little sore, but not to bad. She's supposed to get them every 4 weeks. And I'll leave it at that.
