f/u bleeding

...they aren't making me come into the office, they are sending me to l&d... why am I freaking out? I'm crying! DD is napping, DH is 45 min away at work... do I wake her up and have him meet me? Do I wait for her to wake up, bring her with me, and not have DH leave work? I guess I just didn't think this was a super big deal, and now I feel like it is... ugh!

  • I would wake her up and bring her with me unless you have someone you can drop her off with while you get checked out. I would just let DH stay at work until you know something is wrong.

  • Um.. yes, you wake her up and have him meet you. This is not rocket science.

Good luck. I'm sure everything is fine but it's good they are checking you out.

    Bleeding IS a big deal.

This!! Definitely call your DH.  Mine would be pissed if something happened and I didn't tell him.

Yeah...my pics were so old. I got 3 kids. Nuff said. :)
  • I wouldn't wait too long to go. When you have bleeding, it can trigger contractions. That is what happened to me twice (with this baby- this week, actually, and my last pregnancy). Both times I had to be put on magnesium though which can make you very out of it, so you won't be able to watch your baby. They usually monitor you  first though, unless the bleeding is really bad. Sorry, I am not much help but I wanted to give you a heads up of what to expect. GL!!!!

  • I had this issue a little over a week ago. maybe two weeks. If I wouldnt have had H there with me he may have had a heartattack. I was in L&D for over five hours, so you may want to have someone watch your dd. On a good note everything was ok, I hope the same for you. Keep us updated

  • I would take your DD with you and have your DH or someone meet you at L&D beause it will take a while for them to hook you up and do this and that (usually) and you will need someone to help you with her because if it was like me you will be in a gown, with your but showing and hooked up to the monitors.  I had my 8 yr old with me when I had to go in and thank goodness my dad met us there (DH was traveling) b/c after a few hours of course he got hungry (I got there at 5 and didn't leave till close to midnight).

    **good luck**
