I'm currently making a blanket for my dad's house and Parker's Halloween costume (cookie monster). Next is Rowan's costume (chocolate chip cookie). Then I'm going to make Rowan's Christmas stocking and a tree skirt. Hopefully they will all be done on time
Re: Crafters: what are you working on?
I just finished my friend's business card holder (I know, super exciting, right? lol she needed one). Now I'm packing up all my sewing stuff because we're moving next weekend... at the new place I get my OWN sewing room!!! So I'll be making more.
Next up I'm making Alaina's costume (ladybug), and a pumpkin dress just for fun. Then I have some cute new corduroy to make her some dresses. I should stop there - I have a list of what's next, but I'll spare you.
This is pretty amazing: https://alphamom.com/family-fun/holidays/last-minute-kids-owl-costume/
If it were me I'd probably just do a hooded dark brown sweatshirt, add eyes and feathers to the hood part.
Halloween decorations: clear vase with fishnet stockings pulled over and wrapped with some orange ribbon
Tutu: I'm making a white and ivory tutu for DD to wear. I'm making her an angel for picture Christmas cards
Trying to make as many of our christmas gifts as possible this year, so:
stuffed bear cushions for two friends' daughters; messenger bag for friend's daughter; lunch bags for two cousins and aunt; necktie for uncle; curtain valance, bed pocket, & wall organizer pocket for sister; towel tote for riend; dress for DD1; kite for friend; sweing machine covers for mom and gandma; diaper tote for riend; curtains for friend; reusable snack bags for friend; crochet hat for friend's son; jewelry roll for MIL; dog bed for friend's dog.
Also doing a bathroom remodel right now and need to make shower curtain for it.
I just spent this morning (while battling Braxton Hicks) going through all my UFP and deciding if I'm ever going to finish them, to which I cut out about 50 percent of them (there was about 15 UFP) and dump those..
But what I'm working on now, is a crochet baby blanket for Baby Isaac, and I have his crib bumpers to make also..
:::sigh:::
Funny thing to see this post...I was just cleaning up our downstairs and my "craft" area is down there. I love making cards and jewelry (total newbie at that) and I haven't done either in *months*. Anyway I got around to reorganizing near my craft stuff and up and decided to make a pair of earrings just for fun....I need to do that more. Now that I "found" my desk, maybe I will:)
